Manford S. Kelley (Junior), 82, of Elizabeth, W.Va., passed away on October 5, 2016 at his residence. He was born February 2, 1934, in Barbour County, W.Va. a son of the late Mantford S. Kelley Sr. and Georgia Leeson Kelley. Junior was a retired contractor, brick and block layer and previously worked for Ames. He loved mowing grass and building houses. He was Pentecostal by faith and was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was survived by his three daughters, Barbara Starcher of Elizabeth, Rebecca Somerville of Elizabeth and Della Eaton (Stephen) of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; one sister, Ruby Maxine Miller of Belpre, OH; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two twin infant children, Manford and Dorothy Kelley; and six brothers and sisters, Kathryn Layner, Acie Allen Kelley, Della May Allen, Rosetta Adams, Red Kelley and Wilbert Kelley. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. South Parkersburg with Rev. Glen McBride officiating. Interment will follow at the Merrills Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 TO 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
