Mamie Mae Piggott

Mamie M. Piggott, 87, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away on October 7, 2014 at the Willows Center.She was born June 25, 1927, in Jodie, W.Va., a daughter of the late Clyde and Willie Simms Copeland. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church.Mamie is survived by three daughters, Pamela Archer of Parkersburg, Mary Fielder (Teddy) of Vienna, W.Va. and Lori West of Parkersburg; one son, Edward Piggott (Carolyn) of Burning Springs, W.Va.; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Piggott; three brothers; and a son-in-law, Rick West.Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Harmony Baptist Church, 4013 10th Ave. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Tom Gribble officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until time of services at the church.
