Mamie Ileen Balderson

Mamie Ileen Balderson, 85, of Belpre, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the Belpre Landing Nursing and Rehabilitation, Inc. She was born April 14, 1931 at Briggs Hills, Ohio, a daughter of the late Bradley and Bertha Callahan Riffle. Mamie was a 1950 graduate of Belpre High School; a member of the Belpre Eastern Star and Belpre Heights United Methodist Church. She enjoyed singing and cooking. Mamie is survived by her two sons, Robert Balderson (Tina Lockhart) of Belpre and Brad Balderson (Paula) of Little Hocking, Ohio; four grandchildren, Heather Lynn (Ian) and Emily Balderson of both of Belpre, Sarah Balderson and Seth Balderson both of Little Hocking; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Kora, Jack, Gracie, Isaiah, Joey, Camron, Haley, Hannah, Bryson, Nathan, Dylan, and Dominick; her friends, Carol Will and Florena Harpold; family friend, Johnny Buck; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Delbert Balderson in 1992; her brothers and sisters, Millie Elgin, Leona McKitrick, Eva Hinton Mayne, Carroll Riffle, Leo Riffle and infant brother, Robert Riffle. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Rod Brower officiating. Interment will follow at the Rockland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
