Madeline Lorraine Thomas

Madeline Lorraine Thomas, 92, of Parkersburg passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at her residence. She was born March 5, 1932 in Cleveland, a daughter to the late Clarence C. and Lillian B. Jewell Crispin.

Madeline was co-owner and operator of Thomas Lawnmower, however, spent a lot of her time as a homemaker so she could enjoy her time with family.

She is survived by her sons, Daniel Thomas (Vicky) and Terry Thomas; grandchildren, Stephanie Asbury (Stace) and Jason Thomas (Ashley); great-grandchildren, Brent Asbury (Courtney), Allison Asbury, Jaylee Thomas, Kade Thomas, and Myles Benson; great-great grandson, Barrett Asbury; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Madeline is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil B Thomas; two sisters, Irene Creighton (Richard) and Norma J. Riley (Marvin); and one brother, Charles Crispin.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2024 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., South Parkersburg, with Pastor Daniel Roes officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
