Mable Jean Broadwater

Mable J. Broadwater, 95, of Vienna, WV passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at the Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born November 17, 1924 in Salem, WV, a daughter of the late Ora Edward Garrett, Sr. and Lillie Jane (Brown) Garrett. Mable enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of Stout Memorial United Methodist Church in Parkersburg. She had worked at Penn Metal and Union Carbide. Mable is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Wilson; a son, Mark A. Broadwater (Terri) both of Vienna; two grandchildren, Tyler Broadwater (Sarah) and Taylor Broadwater. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Austin Broadwater; five siblings, Paul Garrett, Velva Adams, O.E. Garrett, Jr, Wilma Riffle and Orma Spies. Committal Services will be at 11:45 a.m., Monday, March 30, 2020 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, with Pastor Cindy Eakle officiating. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna is assisting the family with arrangements.
