Lynn Marie Gard

Lynn Marie Gard, 69, of Parkersburg, passed away surrounded by her family December 15, 2025 at her residence. She was born September 30, 1956 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late James E. and Charlotte C. Lamp Vanfossen.

Lynn was an assembler in the Middleton Doll Factory and then worked for Walmart. She enjoyed crocheting, arts and crafts, and going bowling.

Left to cherish her memory include her children, Benjamin Gard (Brandi), Aaron Gard, and Jamie Hewlett; her brother, Chris Vanfossen; several grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Scott Vanfossen.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 19, 2025 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St. South Parkersburg, with Pastor Frank Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
