Date and Time of Service: No Serviceposted 8/14/2010 at 3:24:17 PMLuther Ross Stuttler, 73, of Washington, W.Va., passed away August 14, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.He was born November 16, 1936 in Doddridge County, W.Va., a son of the late Edgar and Nellie Stuttler.Ross served in the U.S. Air Force for four years and later retired from Consolidated Natural Gas Company in Syracuse, N.Y. after 30 years of employment. Ross loved his boat, fishing, hunting, woodworking and Maggie, his beagle.He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathleen (Wolff) Stuttler; four children, Bonnie (Steve) Komuda of Spafford, N.Y., Molly (Rick) Stuttler-James of Constantia, N.Y., Chet (Jacqueline) Stuttler of Clinton, N.Y., and Kimberly (Scott) Ponto of Pataskla, Ohio; ten grandchildren, Erin, Adam, Alex, Steven, Ryan, Katie, Colleen, R.T., Elizabeth, and Andrew; two sisters, Rosaleen Conenon of Burt Burnett, Tex. and Sharon Davenport of Frankfort, KY.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Bernice Larson.The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St, South Parkersburg.
