Louetta M. Wilson

Louetta M. VanFossen Wilson, 78, of Parkersburg, passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 at Eagle Pointe Nursing Facility. She was born January 31, 1939, in Wood County, WV, daughter of the late Hoyt B. and Clara B. Metz VanFossen. Louetta was retired from The Public Debt after several years of service. She loved her dogs, enjoyed buying and selling homes and was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her two sons, Barry Wilson and Bruce Wilson both of Ritchie County; her four brothers, Roy VanFossen (Sabra) of Bradenton, FL, Richard VanFossen (Marie) of Ritchie County, John VanFossen (Ruth) of Ritchie County and Randy VanFossen (Joyce) of Parkersburg; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Blaine and Bryan Wilson; and a brother, James VanFossen. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg with Daniel Ruegg officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
