Lora May Haynes, 55, of Washington, WV, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born July 4, 1964, in Parkersburg, a daughter of Robert Haynes of Parkersburg and the late Mary Hixon Lobbins. Lora was a graduate of Parkersburg South High School. She was employed with the Wood County Board of Education working at Parkersburg High School. Lora loved her horses and enjoyed horseback riding and spending time with her grandchildren. Lora was a member of the Vienna Church of God. She is survived by her father and step-mother, Robert and Connie Haynes; two daughters, Brandi Dawn Barker and Heather Nicole Barker; her significant other, Ricky Perdue; three brothers, Troy Haynes (Belinda), Robert Haynes Jr. (Christine) and Shawn Haynes (Erin Tucker); one sister, Robin Haynes; two grandchildren, Braydon and LeeAndrea Flanigan; “favorite” Aunt Linda Gary as well as otheraunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many best friends. In addition to her mother, Lora was preceded in death by her step-father, James Lobbins. Funeral services will be held 1 pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the Parkersburg High School Auditorium with Pastor Wesley Vernatter officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 am till time of services Tuesday at the Auditorium. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St, south Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Wild Mustang Rescue, Savings America’s Mustangs, 2683 Via De La Valle #G313, Del Mar, CA. 92014, in memory of Lora.
