Currey, 70, formerly of Porterfield, Ohio passed away July 1, 2010 in Canton, Ohio.He was born March 7, 1940 in Grafton, WV a son of the late Russell James and Lula Mae Moore Currey. He worked as an ironworker/boilermaker and enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, hunting and farming.Lonnie is survived by Sharon Currey; sons, Shawn Currey of Homestead, FL, and Shayne Currey (Renee) of Canton, Ohio; brothers, James Russell Currey of Little Hocking, Ohio, and David Moore of Bakersfield, CA; grandchildren, Christopher C. Currey, and Keisha D. Currey.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant son.Services will be 11:00 a.m. July 7, 2010 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 400 Green St. Parkersburg, WV with Pastor Jim Yoak officiating. Burial will follow at the Harmony Grove Baptist Cemetery in Grafton, WV. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
