Lois Faye Wiggins, 80, of Emerson Avenue, Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away January 30, 2011. She was born October 13, 1930 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ernest W. and Talma E. Wiggins. Lois was a 1948 graduate of Parkersburg High School and of Mountain State College. She was a member of the Valley Mills United Methodist Church (E.U.B.) and the Crossroads U.M. Church. She had been employed in the water department for the City of Parkersburg from 1956 until 1984. Though she had no children of her own, her nieces and nephews were precious to her and they will remember her fondly. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting, her dogs and cats, and especially her flower gardens. She never saw anyone who she didn't think in need of a meal. Surviving are her sisters, Roberta Monroe and Eleanor Garrett, both of Williamstown, W.Va.; and her brother, Howard Wiggins of Parkersburg, W.Va.Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Talma Clark and Karen Wilson; and three brothers, Ernest Wiggins Jr., Harlan Wiggins, and infant James Wiggins.Funeral services will be conducted at 1PM Wednesday February 2, 2011, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, W.Va. Interment will follow at the Bethel Presbyterian Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 11AM until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
