Linda E. Walker

Linda Stout Walker, 66, of Vienna, W.Va. passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the Arbors at Marietta following an extended illness.She was born in Parkersburg on April 18, 1945, the daughter of the late Harry R. and Mary Taylor Stout. She graduated from Marietta High School in 1963 and attended Ohio State University. In later years she was a realtor with Mountain State Reality.Linda is survived by her children, Jason (Julia) Comfort of Vicksburg, Mississippi and Megan (Chris) Waters of Virginia Beach, Virginia; five grandchildren, Julianne, Nicholas, Timothy, Kaleb, and Matthew; her sister, Nora Stout Elberfeld of Tuppers Plains, Ohio; nieces, Andrea (Joel) Merrell and Samantha of Grandview, Ohio; cousin, Ann Taylor Biddle of Little Hocking, Ohio and her children Liz Byers and Dave Matheny.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas T. Walker, June 2000.At her request, she was cremated and there will be no visitation or service. At a later date a private burial will be held at a family cemetery.
