Linda Rae VanClief, 72, of Vienna, W.Va., went to be with her Savior on February 6, 2017 at her residence. She was born June 11, 1944, in Hazard, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Clyde Barr and Ivory Lindon Stevens. Linda loved playing bingo, cooking, playing games and attending her flowers. Most of all, she loved her family dearly. She was a member of The Independent Baptist Church of Vienna, a 1963 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a member of The Order of Eastern Star, Vienna Chapter #151. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Hall (John) of Vienna, W.Va.; one sister, Patty Crouch of Waverly, W.Va.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two step-sisters, Sonja Anderson and Brenda Weldon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Charles “Chuck” VanClief; step- father, V.G. “Red” Stevens; brother, Carl E. Barr; and a son, Carl Douglas VanClief. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, with Pastor Mike Elder officiating. Interment will follow at Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home where an Eastern Star service will be held at 6:30 p.m.
