Linda Lou

Linda L. Mossburg Fox, 67, of Vienna, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017 at her residence. She was born December 10, 1949 in Pleasants County, WV, a daughter of the late Melvin and Martha Saunders Mossburg. Linda was a 1968 graduate of St. Marys High School and graduated from Mountain State Business College in 1969. She formerly worked at St. Josephs Hospital. Linda along with her husband Bill were former co-owners and operators of Fox’s Florist in Vienna. She was a active member of the Moose Lodge #1118 of Parkersburg where she was a former Senior Regent and a member of the ladies auxiliary. Linda was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Parkersburg. She is survived by her loving husband, William F. (Bill) Fox; one daughter, Angela West (Duane) of Vienna; one son, Mike Tanner of Parkersburg; one step-daughter, Tammie Ferguson of Parkersburg; one step-son, Bill Fox of Dover, NH; one sister Brenda Teter (Larry) of Parkersburg and seven grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Steve Tanner. Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Reverend J.Stephen Vallelonga as celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00-8:00 Tuesday at Lambert-Tatman funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave, Vienna, where Christian wake services will be held at 7:30 P.M.
