Linda Marie Hammond

Linda Marie Hammond age 58 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 21, 2015 after an extended illness. She was born February 23, 1957 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Eugene and Ruby Ault Henthorn. Linda had attended Belpre City Schools, was a homemaker, and was a member of the Lynn Street Church of Christ. She enjoyed crafts, basket weaving, and home decorating. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Timothy Allen Hammond; her son, Christopher James Cassidy (Emily) of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren, Zoe, Isabella, Jamin and Etzel Cassidy; four sisters, Diana Cain (Larry), Gloria Kinney (Robert), Tammy Kline (David) , and Tina Smith (Steve); and one brother, Doug Henthorn (Sandy); and several loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Pinkerton Moon; and one brother, Shawn Riffle. A celebration of her life will be held on January 9, 2016 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, family center in Belpre, Ohio. The family request donations to be made to Amedisys Hospice Care, 417 Grand Park Drive, Suite 206, Parkersburg, WV. 26101 in memory of Linda.
