Linda L Fury

Linda L. Fury, 67 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away March 6, 2016 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born May 12, 1948 in Wood County, W.Va. daughter of the late Charles and Edith Roach Lewis. She was a 1966 graduate of Parkersburg High School and was an avid reader. She had worked at Parkersburg Realty and Coldwell Banker, was a member of the Parkersburg Jaycees and was a member of Stout Memorial UM Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Fury in 2004. Linda is survived by her son, Charlie Fury of Fairfax, VA; sister, Diane Mercier and husband, John of Parkersburg; and very special friends, Terri and Max Carpenter of Little Hocking, OH. A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Stout Memorial Unkited Methodist Church in Parkersburg with Rev. Paul Russell officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family will receive memorial donations to assist with funeral costs.
