Linda Darlene Cox

Linda Darlene Cox, 77, of Washington, WV passed away Friday, March 7, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born in Parkersburg, September 12, 1947 to the late Sanford W. Cox and Letha E. Hively Cox Nuhfer.

Linda was a member of Landmark Baptist Church. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and cross-stitching.

Left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Brian and Kevin Cox; sister, Oneta Cox-Sprigg; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, James Edman Cox, Glenn Michael Cox, and Sanford William Cox; sister, Dolores Evelyn Roush; and brother-in-law, Willard Leroy Roush.

In lieu of flowers, donations for the family may be sent to the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St. Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mike Lamb officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, March 10, 2025 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
