Linda Baxter Ramey Cline

Linda Baxter Ramey Cline age 85 of Parkersburg passed away Friday, February 27, 2026 at the Love & Care Assisted Living, Parkersburg.

She was born December 21, 1940 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Ralph Ramey and Frances Christina Knapp.

Linda was a 1958 graduate of Parkersburg High School and 1962 graduate of WV Wesleyan College. She began her career in education as a teacher in 1963 at Parkersburg High School and she later worked as a US Postal mail carrier. Linda loved volunteering with Saulsbury 4-H Club and also Wood County 4-H leaders. She was a life member of the Big Tygart United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Garold Lew Cline; her son, Garold Lew “Junior” Cline, Jr and her two sisters, Nancy Somerville and Joan Farley.

Graveside services will be held 12:30 pm Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at the Big Tygart Cemetery, Mineral Wells with Kyle Inman officiating.
