Lila Jean Lynch

Lila Grinter Lynch, 67, of Beckly, WV, formerly of Parkersburg, passed away at the Bowers Hospice House of Hospice of Southern WV, on February 4, 2024. She was born July 10, 1956 to the late Theodore and Christine Richards.

She is a 1975 graduate of Harrisville High School and continued her education to get her LPN license through St. Joseph’s Hospital of Parkersburg where she stayed until she retired. During her time in Parkersburg, she attended the Warehouse Church, and while in Beckley she attended the Family Worship Center. She loved God, her family, and friends. She was known for her laugh and sense of humor.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Michael Lynch; two sons, Christopher Grinter and Rocky Grinter, both of Parkersburg; two stepsons, Michael Lynch Jr of South Carolina and Devante Lynch of Oak Hill; two stepdaughters, Toi Crump (Candy) of Obetz, OH and Caitlyn Hoskins (Dominque) of Beckley, OH; three brothers, David Richards (Sherrie) of Virginia, Nile Richards and Lonnie Richards, both of Harrisville; four sisters, Sheila Mason (Donnie) of Cairo, Barbara Wilson (Leonard) of Grantsville, Susie Butcher (Dick) of Weston, and Kathy Greathouse of Vienna; eight grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, R.B. Grinter.

At the family’s request, there will be no public services at this time.
