Lenora Irene Channell

Lenora Irene Channell, 85, of Vienna, W.Va. passed away December 23, 2015 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born May 27, 1930 in Randolph County, W.Va., the daughter of the late Steward and Alma Conrad Riggleman. Lenora was a school teacher for Wood County Public Schools. She was a member of Wayside United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of the Eastern Star and 50-year member of the United Methodist Women. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Lehman Aldridge Channell; two sons, Charles E. Channell (Laura) of Howey in the Hills and Robert L. Channell (Teresa) of Williamson, W.Va.; and four grandchildren, Wyatt, Tyler, Cody and Courtney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three sisters, Lillian Hamrick, Leo Fern Gilmore and Mona Ray. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna with Pastor Greg Markins officiating. Graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m at Brick Church Cemetery in Huttonsville W.Va. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association of the Mid-Ohio Valley, 1218 Market Street, Parkersburg, WV 26101.
