Lena B. Hopkins

Lena B. Hopkins, 92, formerly of Mineral Wells, WV, passed away July 09, 2020. She was born June 25, 1928 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Alonzo and Nellie Smith Harris. Lena graduated from Parkersburg High School, she worked at Grants and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church for over 50 years. She did volunteer work for her church and for Lifetime Partners, for Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Annable (Ken) with whom she resided in Richwood, OH; her son, Bob Hopkins of Jacksonville, FL; grandson, Chris Hopkins (Susan) and their children, Lily, Lindsay, Christian and Sophia all of Florida; grandson, Ryan Hopkins (Lauren) and their children, Magnolia, and a great-grandson on the way, two sisters-in-law, Rosemary Hopkins and Betty Harris; special nieces and nephews, Dale Jr., Jody, Joe, Jenny, Phil, Rosemary, Danny, Jeff, Terry, Sandy and Tim. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Roy G. Hopkins; daughter-in-law, Felicia Hopkins; brothers, Elmer and Dale Harris and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. A funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, with Reverend Michael Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Loving Care Hospice, P. O. Box 613 Marysville, OH 43040.
