Lee O. Baker, Jr., 69, of Oklahoma City, OK formerly of Vienna, WV passed away peacefully Dec. 12, 2017, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 11, 1948 in Canton, OH, a son of the late Lee Orion Baker, Sr. and Florence Evelyn Schwartz Baker. Lee was a graduate of Perry High School in Canton, OH, was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 1/2 years of service, and was also retired from the Bureau of Public Debt after 22 years of service. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and was a member of Church of Christ. Lee is survived by his wife of 44 years, Nancy Bibbee Baker; and son, Andrew (Christie) Baker of Yukon, OK. Also surviving are one sister, Carolyn (Charles) Adcock of Summerville, SC; one brother, Gene (Teri) Baker of Canton, OH; four grandchildren, Cole (Tiana) Baker, Sophia Baker, Brody Baker and Claire Baker; and two great-grandchildren, Chloe Baker and Chance Baker of Parkersburg. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Kurt D. Baker. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017 at Evergreen North Mausoleum with Evangelist Mark Mason officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 15 of Parkersburg. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home of Vienna is assisting the family with arrangements.
