Drema Lea Starkey, 57 of Mineral Wells, W.Va. passed away Nov. 21, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.She was born Oct. 16, 1957 in Parkersburg, W.Va. to her late mother; Jessie Starcher.Drema was a 1976 graduate of Parkersburg South High School, and a graduate of West Virginia University at Parkersburg. She was program assistant at WVU-Parkersburg for 35 years, and was President of staff council at WVU-Parkersburg. She was a board member of the West Virginia Interstate Fair.Drema is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jackie Starkey; one daughter, Kendra Amos (Brandon) and one son, Jeremy Starkey (Stacey) all of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Bryley, Mason, Braxton, and Brooklyn; three sisters, Cheryl “Shug” Stone (Tom) of Independence, Ky., Garnet Leone (Roland) of Maryland, and Pam Lovell (Bob) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two brothers, Carl (Chick) Crites (Donna) of Mineral Wells, and Clellan Starcher of Parkersburg; her mother-in-law, Sarah Starkey of Parkersburg; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by one sister, Emma “Peggy” Crites; one brother, Rodney Crites; her father-in-law, Robert Starkey; two nieces; and one nephew.Funeral services for Drema will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 2333 Pike St, Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Jimmy Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2:00 p,.m. to 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Drema's honor to WVU Parkersburg Foundation Scholarship Fund.
