LeeLaurie Ann Lee, 50 of Marietta, Ohio passed away Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Heartland of Marietta.She was born August 4, 1960 in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of Dixie Heath of Hockingport, Ohio and the late Jack Metz. Laurie had previously worked at the Valley Beauty School, where she was the financial aid officer and was a seamstress. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, walking, flower gardening, music, and spending time with her family.Laurie is survived by her three children, Matthew Metz (Cara) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jasmine Burdette (Josh Weber) of Edinburgh, Ind., and Daniel Lee (Jessica Dailey) of Marietta, Ohio; her mother and step-father, Dixie and Ronald Heath of Hockingport; her grandmother, Lenore Wilson of Belpre, Ohio; one sister, Jacqueline Callahan of Parkersburg; two brothers; Denzil Metz and Bill Metz (Edee) all of Belpre; two grandchildren, Andrew Burdette and Lillian Montgomery; three step-sisters, Tammy Roughton (Brad) of Manteo, NC., Pam Schnell of Ravenswood, WV and Teresa Ridgeway (Charles) of Dover, Delaware; three step-brothers, Ronald Heath (Kim) of Millwood, WV, John Heath (Carolyn) of Murraysville, WV, and Donald Heath (Heather) of Cottageville, WV; two uncles, James Wilson of Belpre and David Wilson (Janet) of Dover, Tenn.; special friends, Greg Davis, Jamie Davis, and Bob Lee; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Carl Wilson; paternal grandparents, Fielding and Ella Metz; and one uncle, Mike Wilson.Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, October 4, 2010 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Bill Duty officiating. Visitation will be from noon until time of services Monday at the funeral home.Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Lambert-Tatman Funeral and Cremation Services, Belpre, Ohio.
