Larry Gale Richards

Larry G. Richards Sr., age 55 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at his residence. He was born April 20, 1960 in Parkersburg, a son of the late James “Jesse” and Dorothy Crouser Richards. Larry enjoyed watching WWE wrestling and UFC kickboxing and spending time with his family,especially his grandchildren. Larry is survived by his wife of 34 years, Deborah “Debbie” Swiger Richards; his son, Larry G. Richards Jr. and wife, Cassandra of Parkersburg; his daughter, Becky Rhodes and husband, Doug of Vienna, W.Va.; two brothers, Timothy Richards and wife, Brenda of Cedar Grove and Randy Richards of Parkersburg; two sisters, Violet Spencer of Canton, Ohio and Jackie Jennings of Parkersburg; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Richards of Parkersburg and Shelby Richards of Jacksonville, Fla.; his five grandchildren, Anna, Allie, Michelle and Nate Richards and Laila Rhodes; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bud Richards, Butch Richards, Eddy Richards and infant brother, Gary Richards; and his sister, Patricia Perdue. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Green St., Parkersburg with Jim Lynch officiating. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
