Larry W. Marlow

Larry W. Marlow, 65, of Davisville, W.Va., passed away November 1, 2016 at Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio. He was born February 23, 1951, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of the late Raymond and Lelia Allen Marlow. Larry was a graduate of Parkersburg High School. He retired from O'Ames Shovel Plant where he was a tool and die maker. Larry loved the outdoors and enjoyed working on cars, boats, trucks and lawnmowers. He is survived by his wife, Mary Marlow; three sons, Jeffrey Marlow (Rohini) of Manassas, VA, Jerod Marlow and Justin Marlow (Crystal) all of Parkersburg; one step son, Lester Stewart Jr. (Kirsten) of Parkersburg; one step daughter, Maria Shaffer (Bud) of Parkersburg; two sisters, Wanetta Wolfe of Parkersburg and Ila Jeffries (Jim) of Wichita Falls, TX.; nine grandchildren, Emily, Koen, Abbi, Austin, Amara, Micheal, Brij, Zach and Tala; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Katie. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Ray Seebaugh officiating.
