Larry Douglas Gardner

Larry Douglas Gardner, 73, of Waverly, WV passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born April 12, 1949, in Louisville, KY. He was the son of Evelyn (Wathen) Gardner, of Elizabethtown, KY and the late Forrest Adrian Gardner. Larry was a 1967 graduate of Parkersburg High School and he loved farming all of his life and currently raised Angus Cattle on their farm. In addition to his mother, Larry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Becky Emerick Gardner; a son, Eric Evans and his children, Armani, London and Ocean, all of Parkersburg, WV; three brothers, Ron Gardner (Susan), of Parkersburg, Phil Gardner (Phyllis), of Riegelsville, PA, David Gardner (Amy), of Franklin, KY; a sister-in-law, Ruth Leach (Mike), of Williamstown, WV; two brother-in-law’s, Dan Emerick (JoAnn), of Parkersburg, Tom Emerick (Robin), of Palm Coast, FL; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Services will be held, 1 P.M. Friday, July 15, 2022 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, South Parkersburg. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Thursday and one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
