Kerry Albert Sims

Kerry A. Sims, 63, of Mineral Wells passed away January 29, 2025 at his residence. He was born October 3, 1961 in Parkersburg, a son of the late Albert Sims and Pauline Sims Petty.

He is a 1980 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and attended Parkersburg Community College. He was employed at Skate Country repairing skates and handing them out. He enjoyed watching wrestling, collecting coins, and had a fond interest in history.

Kerry is survived by his two sons, Timothy Sims of Mineral Wells and Dale Sims (Carrie Delong) of Parkersburg; his former wife and caregiver, Cristine Sims of Mineral Wells; two brothers, Roger Sims (Kathy) of Elizabeth and Ronnie Petty (Tricia) of Parkersburg; a sister, Diane Wagoner of Parkersburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Per his final wishes, there will be no public services. Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, south Parkersburg, has been entrusted with his final wishes and is honored to serve the Sims family.
