Kenneth H. “ Butch” Hager, Jr. 74 of Belpre, Oh formerly of Tuppers Plains passed away Sunday February 18, 2018 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born August 4, 1943 in Jackson County, West Virginia a son of the late Kenneth H. Hager, Sr. and Arlie Pullins Hager. He was a 1962 graduate of Eastern High School where he played football. He was a millwright and supervisor at Elkem Metals for 32 years. He enjoyed bowling, watching the Indianapolis Colts, and the West Virginia Mountaineers. He was a member of the Blennerhassett Church of the Nazarene in Parkersburg, West Virginia. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Betty Jo Craddock Hager; three sons, Kenneth H. Hager III (Courtney) of Belpre, Karl Hagger of Charleston, West Virginia, and Keith Hager (Bonnie) of Belpre; one sister, Hester “Rena” Alexander (Harold) of Tuppers Plains, Ohio; one brother, Chester “ Bruce” Hager of Tuppers Plains; four grandchildren, Whitney Hager, Kaity Hager, Kyle Lee, and Kristy Hager; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Melvin Frederick Hager. Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio, with Pastor Bob Kniley officiating. Burial will be in Tunnel Cemetery in Warren Township, Ohio. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
