Kendall David Harper, 87 of Williamstown, W.Va. passed away Aug. 12, 2016 at Eastbrook Nursing Home in Charleston, W.Va. He was born Dec. 19, 1928 in Parkersburg,W.Va., son of the late Howard Ambrose and Letha Cain Harper. He served in the U.S. Army, worked at C&P Telephone Co. and was an elder at the 36th St. Church of Christ in Vienna. He is survived by two sons, David Kendall Harper (Suzan) of Parkersburg and Scott Harper of White Sulphur Springs, WVa.; and step-children, Randy Lowe, DeWayne Dennis, Barbara Dennis and their families. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ila K. Grimm Harper; and second wife, Maxine Harper. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016 at the 36th St. Church of Christ in Vienna with Tom Butterfield and Mark Mason officiating. Burial will follow at River Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg.
