Kay Francis Horton

Kay Francis Horton age 84 of Parkersburg, WV passed away March 10, 2026 at her residence. She was born December 5, 1941 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Albert and Mary R. Battin Brown.

Kay was a member of the Lauckport United Methodist Church and she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Marianne K. Horton of Belpre, OH, Jackie B. Horton (Angela) of Parkersburg, Robert Scott Horton (Sarah) of Oklahoma City, OK and Alberta I. Roes (Charles) of Parkersburg; twelve grandchildren, Mary Dawn, Mary Kay, Jack Daniel, Samantha, Robin, Luke, Savannah, Daniel, Lori, Ann Marie, Vanessa and Preslie; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Danny Gene Horton; one son, Danny G. Horton Jr; granddaughter, Mandy M. Perez and great-granddaughter, Hannah Diane Roes.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, March 15, 2026 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St, South Parkersburg with Pastor Dustin McMillon officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be from 12 -2 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
