Kathy Louise Laughery

She was born November 22, 1953 in Farmington, Maine, a daughter of the late James H. and Virginia J. Philbrick Vanfossen. Kathy had previously worked in department stores and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Parkersburg. She enjoyed collecting frog memorabilia, loved her puppies, Bentley and Daisy and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, John Laughery; two daughters, Amber Hale (Kenneth) of Elizabeth, WV and Tiffani Toncray (Ira) of Belpre, OH; two brothers, James Vanfossen Jr of Parkersburg and Kevin Vanfossen of Vienna and three grandchildren, Ava, Leilah and Isaiah.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Robinson and sister, Robin Lynch.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Green St, Parkersburg with Pastor Keith Hostutler officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
