Kathy Ferrell Cumpston

Kathy Ferrell Cumpston, 57, of Parkersburg, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born on September 30, 1961, a daughter of Grace Anne Sims and the late Richard Herman Ferrell. Kathy was a 1980 graduate of Parkersburg High School. She was a retired administrative assistant who worked for Frontier and Suddenlink. She enjoyed shopping, shooting pool, and music. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs, Bella and Bandit. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Eric L. Cumpston; a daughter, Ashlie Ferrell (John Wilson); one sister, Jennifer Smith (Roger); two grandchildren, Keirra and Karlie Wilson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Kathy was preceded in death by her grandparents and her beloved fur son, Havik. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green Street, Parkersburg. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Humane Society of Parkersburg, 530 29th Street, Parkersburg, WV 26101.
