Kathy A. Burrows

Kathy “Kat” Ann (Dailey) Burrows, 61, of Parkersburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born December 15, 1955, in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of Mary Huffman Dailey of Parkersburg and the late Thomas D. Dailey Jr. Kat was a graduate of Parkersburg South High School. She enjoyed reading, gardening, music – especially Cher, target shooting and visiting the Amish Country. She also liked collecting elephants, wolves, and Indian memorabilia. She loved her family and her pets, especially her dog, Baby Girl. She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Burrows; her mother, Mary Huffman Dailey of Parkersburg; children, Rena Swearingen (Bill) of Belpre, Ohio, Robert “Bob” Burrows (Sondra) of Parkersburg, Janifer Burrows of South Carolina, and Samantha Burrows (Jon Kief) of Martinsburg, WV; two sisters, Jenny Pickens of Waverly, WV, and Sarah “Jane” Lamb (Don) of Belpre; three brothers, Thomas Dailey III (Janet), Charles “Rick” Dailey (Joyce), and Mark Dailey (Cindy) all of Parkersburg; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Virginia Fetty; nephew, Robert Lamb; and brother in-law, Larry Pickens. Visitation for family and friends will be 3-5 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., South Parkersburg.
