Kathryn "Kathy" Y. Lambert

Kathy Lambert, 78, of Rockport, WV, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born December 14, 1940, in Wirt County, WV, a daughter of the late Lafe C. and Garnet Moore West. Kathy enjoyed doing upholstery work. Loved cooking, baking and being with her family. She was a member of Slate United Methodist Chapel. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Larry Lambert; two sons, Wayne Lambert (Liz) of Mineral Wells and James Lambert (Vickie) of Rockport; two sisters, Sharon Sommerville (Gary) of Rockport and Norma Deem (Roger) of Idaho; her brother, Jack West (Della) of Rockport; seven grandchildren, Sabrina Braden, Wendy Knopp (Robbie), Ann Lambert, Jamie Lambert, Matt Lambert (Samantha), Christine Hall (Jenna) and Heidi White (Kelly); eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Dowler; and her great-granddaughter, Laura Kathryn Knopp. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Monday, October 14, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Lloyd Keith officiating. Burial will follow at Big Tygart Cemetery in Rockport. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Sunday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.lamberttatman.com.
