Kathleen E. Meneely

Kathleen (Kay) Meneely, 85 of Parkersburg passed away peacefully November 30, 2017 at Cedar Grove Assisted Living. She was born February 29, 1932 in McKinleyville, WV, daughter of the late Ray and Helen G. Barr Thoburn. She had worked as a toll collector for the Parkersburg Memorial Bridge. Kay enjoyed singing and spending time with family. She was a member of the Cedar Grove U.M. Church. Prior to Cedar Grove Assisted Living, she lived at Love and Care Assisted Living on DuPont Road for five years, where they loved and cared for her. She is survived by two daughters, Sherri Richardson (Donald) of Parkersburg and Melissa Arnold (Nathan) of Davisville; a sister, Genny Hazelip (Wayne) of Lake City, FL; four grandchildren, Brian Richardson, Bradley Richardson (Cathy), Chloe Arnold and Noah Arnold; and one great-granddaughter, Laura Richardson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry H. Meneely; and three sisters, Marilyn , Jo Anne and Sue. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 4, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Pastor Ed Beatty officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
