Kathleen Frances Jones

She was born on February 28, 1947 in Welch, WV to the late John and Jane Romeo. Kathy is survived by her husband of 49 years Greg, son Travis (Kristi) and grandson Cameron. Her brother John Romeo, Jr., sisters Anna Biggs, Alanna Romeo, brothers in law, Jeffrey Jones, Matt Jones, Zack Jones, sister in law Theresa Sapp, Aunts, Peggy Wright, Mitzi Romeo, Uncle Joe Panzera and many nieces and nephews who adored her. She was predeceased by brothers in law, Timothy Jones and Bob Jones, and niece Taylor Jones. Kathy graduated from Parkersburg Catholic High School in 1965 where she met her future husband Greg and they were married on September 12, 1969. Kathy lived most of her life in Vienna and several years ago she and Greg built a cabin in the West Virginia hills of Ritchie County that they both loved. They spent many years together enjoying the wildlife, their horses, wood working, and traveling. Kathy loved reading and was a wealth of information on most any subject. She had many hobbies including cooking for her family and researching and trying new recipes. Her son Travis, grandson Cameron, husband Greg, and her daughter in law Kristi were the love of her life. If you were blessed to call her family or friend then you were rich and knowing unconditional love. Kathy was the most loving, caring, and giving individual with patience like no other. Her vibrant smile could light up a room and her beautiful soul will be missed beyond measure by all who knew her.
