Karen L. Harper, 53, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away on August 19, 2015 at Camden Clark Medical Center.She was born May 13, 1962, in Wetzel County, W.Va., the daughter of Robert L. and Norma R. Thomas Tustin. Karen was a homemaker and often volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. She enjoyed making crafts and cooking.She is survived by her husband, James Harper; four daughters, Jennifer (Alex) Lambert and Haley Harper, both of Parkersburg, Lisa Day of Elkins, W.Va. and Linda Barb, of Rockingham, Va.; one son, Jamie Harper of Whitmer, W.Va.; one sister, Brenda (Tim) Wells of Davisville, W.Va.; two brothers, Lloyd “Tony” Tustin and Brian K. Tustin, both of Jacksonburg, W.Va.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg. Interment will follow at Victory Cemetery in Alma, W.Va. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
