Justine Ardell Miller

Justine Ardell Miller, 87, of Veto, Ohio, passed away on May 7, 2012 at Eldercare Health and Rehab Center in Ripley, W.Va.She was born July 28, 1924, in Spencer, W.Va., a daughter of the late Stewart and Jeanette Carpenter Pickens.Ardell was a wonderful homemaker and had worked at Dudley's Florist for many years. She was a member of the Veto Presbyterian Church in Veto, Ohio.She is survived by one daughter, Rita Chancey of Ravenswood, W.Va.; one son, Stephen Miller of Veto, Ohio; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Miller; one sister, Geraldine Parsons; and two brothers, Noil and Ronald Pickens. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Veto Presbyterian Church, Veto, Ohio with Pastor Robin Swinsburg officiating.Interment will follow at Veto Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
