June Kathleen Moellendick

June Kathleen Moellendick, 97, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away on October 17, 2017 at The Belpre Landing. She was born July 17, 1920, in Long Bottom, OH, daughter of the late Holbert and Jennie Whiteside. She was a loving wife and mother as well as a faithful servant of God at Calvary Memorial Church. June was an avid football fan of NFL and College especially West Virginia University and Marshall University. She also enjoyed bowling, gardening and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her son, Randy Moellendick and wife, Carolyn of Belpre, Ohio; daughter, Barbara Tuell and husband, David of Davisville, WV; sister in-law, Evelyn Mitchell of Parkersburg; step-grandchildren, Tim Duty and wife, Cindy and Tricia Sanders and husband, David, all of Parkersburg; step-great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Tori Sanders; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as great-great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin M. Moellendick; one sister, Sue Westfall and Aunt, Bess Webster. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Rob Collins officiating. Interment will follow at the Lubeck Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday and one hour prior to services on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Old Man Rivers Mission, Pike St, Parkersburg, WV. 26101 in memory of June.
