June Ball

June Ball, 83, of Parkersburg, passed away January 7, 2015, at The Willows Center.She was born Nov. 14, 1931, in Calhoun Co., W.Va., a daughter of the late Arthur and Ida Husk Starcher.June retired from the AmVets Post #34 of Parkersburg where she worked for 38 years.She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Spindle of Parkersburg; one son, Steven Ball (Susan) of Morgantown, W.Va.; five grandchildren, Jeremy Spindle (Amy), Steven Ball II (Luz), Ryan Ball (Sabrina), Chelsea Ball (Josh) and Christopher Sams (Angela); six great-grandchildren, Darien Spindle, Vienna Spindle, Matthew Long, Ryan Long, Ariel Sams and Kaleb Sams ; and two sisters, Pauline Malone and Jean Veach, both of Parkersburg.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Ball; one son, Donald Ball; an infant brother; one daughter-in-law, Cheryl Ball; and a special friend, Howard Poling.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 12, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Jeff Williamson officiating.Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 11, at the funeral home.
