Judith Kay Thorn

Judy K. Thorn, 71, of Parkersburg, passed away on April 3, 2024 at WVU Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born April 29, 1952 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late William Ralph and Geraldine Full Knight.

She was a graduate of Parkersburg South High School. She was a caregiver with ResCare. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and working puzzles.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Melinda D. Blosser (Charles) of Parkersburg and Kimberly McGinnis (Jeff) of Baxter, WV; two sisters, Kim Knight and Connie Wise (Rowen) all of Parkersburg; a grandson, Tyler McGinnis; one great granddaughter, Annabel; one nephew, Jason Knight (Sara); and two nieces, Josie Knight and Kristina Wise Maramba (Philip); and dear friends, Anita Miller, Vicky Thomas, Joy and Danny Watkins, and Karen McIntire.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son Chad Cunningham; two brothers, Mike and Randy Knight; and a sister, Barbara Knight.

Per Judy’s request, there will be no visitation or services.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Eagle Pointe and staff, and CCMC ICU and CVU for their love and care.
