Judith Ann Morris

Judith Ann Cumberledge Vernon Morris, 57, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Feb. 18, 2011 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.She was born Dec.17, 1953 in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Elmer and Gail Cumberledge Webb.She was a graduate of Parkersburg South High School and worked as a Home Help Caregiver for ResCare.Judith is survived by a daughter, Ruby Evelyn Vernon of Parkersburg; two sisters, Lucille Devaughn of Ritchie County, W.Va., and Martha Webb of Parkersburg; a brother, Roger Faber; and her guardian, Pamela J. Shamblin of Cottageville, W.Va.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Webb; a sister Mary Lou Webb; maternal grandparents, Ruby Gail and Jesse Cumberledge; and several aunts and uncles.A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, March 5, at Calvary Baptist Church in Ravenswood, W.Va. with Pastor Fred Basnett officiating.Interment will be at the Cumberledge Family Cemetery.A luncheon will follow the services at the church.
