Judith Ann Gray 88 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away on August 7, 2013 at Muskingham Valley Nursing Home.She was born July 17, 1925 in North Carolina, a daughter of the late Alpheus and Effie Mandy Bracy Dunning. Judith had previously worked at Dils Brothers Department Store and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She and her husband Joseph were devoted members of the Family Campers and RV'ERS (National Campers and Hikers Assoc.), where they served at various times as chapter officers, State Teen Directors, and State President and State Field Directors. They spent 25 years as the editors/publishers of WV State NCHA/FCRU News Letter, the WV Scratch and Scrawl. Judith and her husband were avid campers and loved to travel all the U.S.A., Canada and Mexico. Their favorite place was the Outer Banks of N.C., namely Ocracoke Island where they visited at least once a year.She is survived by one daughter, Mabel T. Row (Ray) of Vienna, W.Va.; one sister, Alice Swenson of Minnesota; and six grandchildren, Janet Gray (Mike), Johna Dodrill (Mark), Jeff Brethauer (Lana), Raymond Row III, Roxann Sponaugle (Jeremie) and Marsha Brunny (Dave); eleven great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William Gray who passed April 15, 2012; one son, Patrick J. Gray; and six brothers, Floyd, Carlton, Julian, Craig, Leroy, and Luter Dunning.As per Judith's request there will be no visitation. Memorial services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.The family would like to thank the Muskingham Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the love and kindness they gave to Judith.Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. is assisting the family with the arrangements.
