Judith Irene Burrows

Judith Irene Burrows, 68, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on Sept. 4, 2012 at her residence.She was born Sept. 19, 1943, in Salem, W.Va., a daughter of Delbert Elsey and Helen Hawk Elsey.She was a graduate of Parkersburg Beauty College and worked as a file clerk in the Stocks and Bonds Department at the Bureau of Public Debt. She enjoyed camping and the outdoors. She liked to read and enjoyed the company of good friends.She is survived by one daughter, Tina Baker of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one son, Robert (Michell) Baker of Parkersburg, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Cherie Smith, Amy Putnam, Jamie Putnam and Craig Putnam; three great-grandchildren, Callie and Kendal Smith and Trenton Putnam; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Burrows; one brother, Johnny Elsey; and one sister, Joy Smearman.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m on Friday, Sept 7, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Jim Lynch officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
