Juanita Elizabeth Holman, 91 of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away peacefully June 8, 2014 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus. She was born in Pennsboro, W.Va., on December 5, 1922, a daughter of the late Frank and Lettie Church.During her lifetime, Mrs. Holman was the co-owner of Nita's Lunch and Frank and Nita's Supper Club, worked at J.C. Penney's, served as a realtor and was the Buckeye Stamp Manager for the Parkersburg based Big Bear Store. In later life one of Mrs. Holman's greatest joys was serving as a Foster Grandmother in the Pediatric Department of St. Joseph's Hospital. She was a member of the St. Andrew's United Methodist Church and a former member of the GFWC Parkersburg Woman's Club.She is survived by two children, Larry (Patricia) Holman of Marion, Ohio and Lora (Timothy) Swarr of Parkersburg, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Eric (Tamara) Holman of Marion, Ohio, Andrea (Edward) Bonvillian of Springfield, Ohio, Matthew (Nikole) Holman of Marion, Ohio, Christopher (Brette) Swarr of Parkersburg, W.Va., Jason (Gina) Swarr of Gilbert, Arizona, and Steven (Stephanie) Swarr of Parkersburg, W.Va.; and ten great-grandchildren.Mrs. Holman was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, the late Clinton O. Holman; and five brothers and sisters.The family would like to extend gratitude to the staff and administration of the Parkersburg Care and Rehabilitation Center for the excellent care and kindness during the past eight years and also to the staff and administration of Camden Clark Medical Center for their care and support during Mrs. Holman's final days. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Parkersburg. The family will receive visitors two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
