Elliott age 93 of Vienna passed away September 14, 2010 at the home of her grandson Scott Carpenter where she had been residing. She was born in Gypsy, WV a daughter of the late Robert and Vicie Dodd Donlin.She was retired from Wood County Schools as a teacher for 30 years, a graduate of Fairmont State University and a member of Grace Baptist Church.Juanita is survived by daughter-in-law Sylvia Slaton of Bridgeport, WV; seven grandchildren Scott Carpenter (Julie), Lisa Green (Gary), Mark Carpenter, Jimmy Slaton (Debra), Michael Slaton (Rubin), Chris Slaton (Paula) and Lori Slaton; ten great grandchildren, one niece Heather Rogers (Bill) of Morgantown, WV and a dear friend Peggy Miller.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Bill Slaton, her second husband Gene Elliott; two children, son Michael Slaton and daughter Stephanie Black; one grandson David Slaton; ten brothers and sisters.Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday September 18, 2010 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 3005 Grand Central Ave Vienna, WV with Pastor Todd Hill officiating.
