Joyce “Ann” Ritchie Cline Hicks of Parkersburg passed away May 17, 2016 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born Sept. 17, 1943 in Parkersburg, daughter of the late Thurman and Lucille Sayer Ritchie. She worked as a domestic worker for many years and retired in 1995. She was a devoted mother and loved all her family. In her younger years she enjoyed hiking in the mountains of West Virginia and fishing the Ohio River. She was an Episcopalian by faith. Joyce is survived by her son, Raymond Russell Cline III and wife, Debbie of Davisville, W.Va.; her daughter, April Diana Weckbacker and husband, Kevin of Graysville, OH; six grandchildren, Magen (Brian) Harris, Kimberly (Tyler) Chutes, Abigail Thayer, Gregory and Justin Cline and Crystal Brown; two step-grandsons, Jason and Clay Weckbacker; eight great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Corbin, Lucas, and Twila Harris, Shealie Brown, Haidyn Chutes, Blake Chutes and Addilynn Cline ; six sisters, June Williams of South Carolina, Lenora (Mick) Denman, Kay (John) Cooper of Charleston, Pamela (Willard)White, Laura (Jim) Murphy and Norma Green of Panama City, FL; one brother, Donald (Pam) Ritchie; sister-in-law, Linda Ritchie; and many nieces and nephews. Joyce is also survived by her loving and faithful companion, Clyde John Dobson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond Cline Jr. and Herman Hicks; brother, Blain Ritchie and infant brother, Robert Ritchie. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
