Joshua Jeremiah Thorn

Joshua Jeremiah Thorn, 37, of Parkersburg, WV passed away the morning of November 27, 2025 at his residence.

Son of Dale and Spring Leasure Thorn, Joshua was born December 27, 1987 in Parkersburg, WV.

Joshua owned his own construction business, enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his children.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jerry W. Thorn and Loretta Rogers; maternal grandparents, Paul Leasure Sr. and Helen Vanclief Leasure; aunts, Mary Prall and Rebecca Leasure; uncle, Jack Leasure; and nephew, Damien Smith.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory are his four children, Elizabeth Mounts Thorn, Corey Beckta, and Ray Lynn Beckta, and Zander Thorn; sister, Natasha Smith Thorn; two uncles, as well as several other family and friends who will miss his dearly.

There will be no public services and a private cremation will take place.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home Pike to assist with the final expenses.
