Joseph Edwin Reed Ii

Joseph E. Reed II, 60, formerly of Belpre, passed away May 31, 2024 in Winchester VA. He was born November 19, 1963 to Joseph E. Reed of Belpre, and the late Iona Fay Best Carpiaux.

He is a 1983 graduate from Belpre High School where he played baseball and football. He enjoyed fishing and boating on the river, and especially enjoyed being with his family.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his step-mother, Jackie Reed of Belpre, his step-father, Pascal Carpiaux of Nevada; three sons, Joseph Reed III of Massachussets, and Derek and Robbie Reed of Califonia; six sisters, Carla Knapp (Rick) of Parkersburg, Emma Kelly of Marietta, Jo Ellen Rasmussen (George) of Belpre, Melissa Hutchison (Jason) of Tennessee, Tonia Reed of Little Hocking, and Angela Parker Reed of Belpre; a brother-in-law, Geno Weihl of Little Hocking, a granddaughter, Layla; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by a sister, Terri Weihl.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Pastor Matthew Stahl officiating. Visitation from Noon until time of service at the funeral home.
